A/N: C’mon tell me you didn’t see this coming, I mean this whole challenge was practically designed for my team. Phantom Traveler is one of the greatest episodes and the minute I saw the challenge I thought of this, so read and enjoy and remember to let me know what you think.

“Are you okay?” Buffy asked Dean softly sitting down beside him her brow furrowing in confusion as she looked over at her boyfriend. His eyes were closed tightly and his lips moved furiously as if he was singing, her eyes trailed down to his hands which clutched the arm rest his knuckles turning white from the death grip her had on the material.

“I’m fine.” he gritted out his body tense.

He was clearly not alright.

The plane had just got off ground and a lot of the passengers were undoing their seatbelts and moving around. Buffy had gotten up to grab a bottle of water and had came back to find her tough as nails boyfriend in this condition.

Buffy gave him a hard look than stood up explaining softly “I’m going to the bathroom, I’ll be back in a sec.” she slipped into the aisle her mind straying to the reason they were there. They had been tracking a spirit in Texas when they had got the call from the base in Cleveland. Something was trying to open the hellmouth and they needed Buffy back there right away.

Since Willow was still in Brazil and no other witches were on hand Buffy had figured the fastest way to get there would be by plane. That meant leaving the Impala behind with one of Dean’s hunter friends but Buffy had promised she would be quick about saving the world.

She hadn’t thought it would be a problem, Dean hadn’t mentioned anything but she had known him long enough to know that when it came to sharing he could get pretty tight lipped.

She had a sneaking suspicion of what was bothering him.

Buffy waited patiently and when it was her turn she slipped into the small bathroom hoisting herself on the counter and pulling her cell phone Willow had specially magicked for her.

She knew exactly who to call for answers.

The phone rang and Sam groaned pulling a pillow over his head and burrowing closer to the warm body beside him. The shrill noise wouldn’t stopped and the lithe woman wrapped around his body growled “Answer the damn phone already.” clearly just as irritated with the disturbance as he was.

The difference was she could literally break every bone in a person’s body if she was irritated.

Sam sighed rolling across the bed and grabbing the cell phone off the nightstand wincing when he noticed the heavy metal tune it emitted, personalized ring tones could be a lifesaver sometime and he only knew too people he would designate with that noise.

One of them he knew would be in no condition to call him.

“Hello Buffy.” Sam yawned covering his mouth with his hand and pulling the sheet his dark haired girlfriend was hogging.

“Sam tell me why Dean is freaking out?” her voice came across as clipped and commanding and Sam winced wondering if it was Dean’s influence or had the blond Slayer always been that bossy.

“Dean has a little problem with flying.” Sam admitted sheepishly feeling a little guilty about not telling her. He had been busy doing other things. The other things which was now sitting up beside him her head resting on his shoulder. He angled the phone so that she could hear the conversation.

“So you’re telling me Dean has a fear of flying?” Buffy demanded.

“Yes.” Sam replied honestly and tried to keep the smile out of his voice as Faith put her arms around his waist and began to nip at his shoulder.

“What am I suppose to do?” a desperate note broke through the Slayer’s voice.

Sam was at a loss “Just take it easy, it will be over in a ....”

“Oh give me that.” Faith interrupted him grabbing the phone out of his hand and muttered under her breath “idiot.” She tugged the sheet back from Sam and a grin slipped across her face “Distract the boy B, you’re hot and blond and Deano isn’t exactly well behaved, you figure it out, kay bye, see ya soon.” she flipped the phone closed and tossed it on the floor “Now I believe we were doing things.” she smiled suggestively letting the sheet drop and Sam forgot all about the idiot comment, he pretty much forgot about anything other than the fact that they had a couple more hours all to themselves and a nice and comfy bed.

Buffy hung up the phone and took a deep breath before hopping off the counter and making her way back to her seat. “Dean?” she whispered softly leaning down to whisper in his ear.

He turned to her their lips mere inches apart and Buffy could see the sweat that was beaded at the top as he gritted out “What?”

“Follow me.” she grabbed his hand and had to use a bit of Slayer strength to pull him up. He grumbled but let her wincing when the plane shook a bit.

Buffy gave the couple starring at them a sweet smile then began to lead Dean back to the bathroom a look of determination on her face. She pushed him inside squeezing herself in beside him closing and locking the door behind her back.

“So what's going on?” Dean demanded looking down at her his hands moving to rest on her waist as he brought her closer to him and moved his body so that she was comfortable.

Buffy leaned forward her arms wrapping around his neck as she brought his head down for a hot kiss her tongue wrestling with his. Dean Winchester had never been slow and he returned the kiss his grip biting into her waist as he pulled her body flush against his his hand already moving under her shirt.

At the moment he hated flying a little bit less.

With her pressed up against him he could forget he was thousands of fight in the air and had no control of the situation.

There was a loud bang on the door and Buffy and Dean drew away as the door as forced open and a flight attendant glared a couple of passengers watching the drama curiously.

Buffy bit her bottom lip and buried her head in Dean’s chest.

He just grinned giving the woman his “eat shit” smile “I’m a nervous flyer.”
